Scott Burns – VOICE-OVER TECHNIQUE 1 INSTRUCTOR![]() Instructor, Scott Burns, has been a professional voice actor for 27 years. He is a member of SAG and AFTRA. He is currently voicing Car Toys, Muckleshoot Bingo, Puget Sound Energy, and many more radio, television and computer games. Also, Scott is the voice of Bowser for Nintendo “Super Mario.” He has studied with famed commercial actor Squire Fridell, Patrick Fraley voice character guru and Gary Austin, of the legendary improv group The Groundlings. Besides voice acting, he writes, produces and engineers currently with Destination Marketing as their Radio Production Manger for commercials and TV, His ability to create characters and celebrity impersonations has earned him countless bookings and garnered many industry awards, including 5 Puget Sound Broadcasters “Soundies.” Most recently he is the voice of Tom Brokaw, former NBC News Anchorman, in the feature film titled,”Subject: I Love You.” Rick May - VOICE-OVER TECHNIQUE 2 INSTRUCTOR![]() Rick May, instructor, is a versatile actor for film, television, corporate videos, voice-overs and theatre. He is a member of AFTRA and SAG. Rick does impressions, cartoon and character voices. His voice has been heard on CD-Rom games X-Box 360 “Team Fortress 2,” “The Age of Empires II” and Nintendo 64 game “Star Fox”. He performed as Jackie Gleason in the Heidelberg beer TV commercial series. His film credits include the classic “American Graffiti,” “The Chocolate War” and “Child in the Night.” Rick has been lead actor in countless theatre productions, “Fiddler on the Roof”, “Cotton Patch Gospel”, &“Death of a Salesman.” He has also directed over hundreds of productions and still performs his own one man show, “Bully! An Adventure with Teddy Roosevelt.” Rick has been Managing and Artistic Director for Seattle’s Civic Light Opera and Renton Civic Theatre. He has taught acting, voice-over and improv classes throughout his acting career.
